CAFADS

(Children & Family Alcohol & Drugs Service)

CAFADS is a Service, which works with families and children, aged 5 upwards around Drugs and Alcohol misuse. The project works with individuals who have been affected by someone in the family who has a substance misuse problem, as well as families to provide them with support around substance misuse.

 

We now have the following vacancies:

 

 PROJECT WORKER

Based in Enfield

The post holder is expected to provide assessment and a range of therapeutic interventions for children, young people and families who have been adversely affected by alcohol or drug use within the family. This work will take place both at CAFADS base and a range of satellite venues. The post holder will be expected to work closely with a range of other agencies and professionals.

You will have:

  • A recognised professional qualification in a relevant therapeutic area and experience of working systemically with children and families.
  • Experience of working in the drug/alcohol field or a similar setting.
  • At least two years proven experience of direct therapeutic work with children, young people or families in a similar setting.

These are full time posts at 35 hours per week.

Salary: NJC Point 26 - 30 (£24,591 - £27,724) including LW

SENIOR PRACTITIONER

Based in Enfield

The post holder will have responsibility for the day to day running of clinical services within CAFADS, providing appropriate support and supervision to other clinical team members. The post holder is expected to provide assessment and a range of therapeutic interventions for children, young people and families who have been adversely affected by alcohol or drug use within the family.

You will have:

  • A recognised qualification in Family Therapy UKCP registered or DIPSW
  • Experience of working in the drug/alcohol field or a similar setting.
  • At least two years proven experience of direct therapeutic work with children, young people or families in a similar setting.
  • Direct experience of providing staff supervision and support.

This is a full time post at 35 hours per week.

Salary: NJC Point 30 - 34 (£27,724 - £30,773) including London Weighting

ADMINISTRATOR

Based in Enfield

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will provide reception support as necessary and a range of efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the service and be first point of contact for dealing with enquiries and queries. Qualifications to ‘A' level standard (or equivalent) are strongly desirable, though strong relevant experience will also be considered.

You will have:

  • Experience of dealing with the general public
  • Experience of communicating with a variety of professionals
  • Experience of working in an office environment. 
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and Databases

This is a full time post at 35 hours per week.

Salary: NJC Point 14 -18 (£18,332 - £19,715) including London Weighting
