About Us: Aims

The Aims of Rugby House:

central-composite1. To provide immediate, effective treatment interventions for those in acute need due to severe alcohol and drug misuse. 

2. To offer individual, solution or goal focused care plans that provide the basis for developing long-term coping strategies for individuals to manage their lives.

3. To provide intensive residential rehabilitation in high quality, safe accommodation with on-going aftercare.

4. To provide individual support, group work and information to those who misuse alcohol and drugs, to assist the individual to overcome their alcohol and drug misuse.

5. To provide training and consultancy services to other agencies working with those who may misuse alcohol and drugs.

6. To disseminate the work of Rugby House through monitoring and evaluation and to research the changing environment.

7. To ensure the sound governance of the Charity.

8. To ensure a strong financial base for the Charity.

9. To ensure that there is improving equality of access.

10. To continue to develop as a Learning Organisation.

11. To develop new services which meet unmet needs or improve equality of access:

* Based on the dissemination of the work of Rugby House and external research

* Through partnership initiatives

12. To ensure that the training and development of its workforce is seen as best practice in the sector.

13.To work with the families of the individual and their community, in order to provide holistic treatment interventions.
